My Couture FAQ, a mini magazine for artists, musicians, fashionistas, collectors and business aficionados

1. Why did I want to start a magazine? Mainly, I read so much information in the media regarding fashion, music production, the making of comic books, investing, and collecting that I wanted to start a magazine that had information that was more meaningful. It is based solely on trial and error, methods that worked and ones that didn't I have made in the pursuit of my dream as a songwriter, comic book artist, fashion designer, finance analyst, lawyer, and writer.  I think having first hand experience in actually drawing, collecting, designing fashion and 3d animation, being a songwriter/writer , collector, photographer, working in white/blue collar environments  and so on gives me an overall enhanced view of the production process. I’m hoping to curtail the amount of money musicians invest on things like compressors, mics, for comic book artists the right tools to work with at a budget they can afford, resources to make the whole process of production cost efficient, etc. Things

The New Teen Titans Issue 18 - A 1980s story based on today's headlines

George Perez is known to draw extraordinary and amazing things particulary with his work on Marvel’s The Avengers and Black Widow back in the 80s. I didn’t start to read comic books until The New Teen Titans Issue 18 came out which was dated April 1982. The issues here not including Marvel Fanfare were bought from a classmate when I was a kid. He said he wanted to sell me a bag full of his dad's comic books. If I remember right, he originally was asking for $14. I told him with some George Perez thrown in there, I'll buy it for $7. He agreed. While I have no doubt Aliens will invade us one day and we are ill prepared because we’re too busy being stupid, comic books back then were rich in dialogue and storylines that made you think. The New Teen Titans 18 was the first comic book that I think I could relate to and the first I bought from Direct Sales or stores exclusively in the business of selling comic books. I bought about 12 copies of the original Crisis on Infini

How to make your own Face Mask

Hello Everyone. I was going to make some masks for my Etsy site but my sewing machine broke and I guess Santa Clara could be in for a lockdown, some part of San Francisco already is and I heard from one of my sources that businesses are starting to close down in San Jose. FYI for anyone that does not know me, I'm currently a Fashion / Music major with a BA in Business concentration Finance at SJSU, Associates in Art and Desktop Publishing, a comic book artist, musician, huge Madonna fan and SF Giants bay area sports fanatic, choreographer, etc. I am not a sewer, but it's just one of the things I have to learn to design clothes. So anyone can do this. Industrial machines are extremely hard to learn, but home sewing machines are very easy. I mention this because home sewing machines might not be designed to churn out garments as mine broke down all of sudden today. You would need a sewing machine to make the sides look good, but if you can't sew just cut a rectangle and a
